A full denture replaces all teeth on top, bottom or both and the supporting tissue (bone and gums) that always keep changing always after the extractions. It recovers and sits on top the residual gum/ridge, in the case of a top denture the palate will also be recovered. The dentures hold only by suction, the edges of the denture are sealed by the soft tissues.
